As part of the Saamuhika Shakti project, our implementing partners—Circular Apparel Innovation Factory (CAIF), Enviu, Hasiru Dala and Sambhav Foundation—work collaboratively to create a value chain for post-consumer textile waste in Bengaluru. This initiative not only enables livelihood opportunities for waste pickers but also contributes to positive environmental outcomes.
The 16 Dry Waste Collection Center (DWCCs) mapped below—along with their locations, the names of the DWCC operators, and contact numbers—are centres that actively collect textile or cloth waste in Bengaluru.
Alternatively, the used clothes and textile waste can also be given to the Textile Recovery Facility. If there is a substantial amount, call the Hasiru Dala helpline - 97417 30854 - to schedule a pick up.
Before dropping off the used clothes, do ensure they are washed and dry. While torn and faded clothes are accepted, undergarments are not.
